This equipment or services, or solutions will be handed over to the Indian defence, i.e. the Army, NAVY, and Air FORCE for their usage along with a set of Technical documents / technical literature, i.e. Technical manuals and user manuals and ISPL etc, along with a DVD of Training Aids.

These personnel need to be trained on the usage of the deliverables. They are called Training Aggregates / Training Aids and Technical Literature.

Computer-Based Tutor, Video film, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) Level 3 or Level IV / Class 4 software are also needed to be supplied, which will be used for training purposes and knowledge enhancement, etc.

Charts and blowup diagrams, slides, and Training brochures are also used by the trainer while explaining the concepts to end users, i.e. Army and Military training colleges.

CBTs (Computer-based Tutors, or can also be called Computer-based Training) and Video films and IETMs will also be installed in client premises, i.e. in ships or submarines or in the Air Force network, so that armed forces will get trained.

CBT consist of audiovisual content with high graphics, 3d and 2d animations with voice over and text. CBT covers topics like introductions, technical specifications, Operations, Deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, etc. Some real-time videos will also be placed in the course.

CBTS are also referred to as e-learning software or e-content development, Multimedia Tutors, WBT (web-based Tutors) and these are developed using HTML 5 technology, which powers the content and makes device device-independent, thus allowing users to view on laptops, desktops or mobile devices effectively.

They are also called anytime learning software solutions.

Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) software services is designed, developed, and distributed/published by Code and Pixels indigenously, and it is made in INDIA. The Code and Pixels IETM framework is completely developed as per JSG guidelines. The NAVY, ARMY and IAF use our IETM software.

IETM or Interactive Electronics Technical manuals have 2 versions. They are Level 3 and Level 4. They are also called IETM Class 3 or Class IV. Class 3 is mainly used if the number of pages or less, and class 4 is generally used when more pages are to be converted to a database.

IETM Level 4 software uses a database, hence it's more powerful than Level 3, in terms of features and ease of access.

JSG 0852: 2019 is the standard defined by the Indian Defence, and S1000D publishing is the standard defined by the European Aviation Agency.

If the end user or shipyard has a CSDB studio, then it is wise to use S1000D, or otherwise, JSG Indian standard is the best solution.

JSG 0852 IETM uses HTML 5 and MySQL database, and S1000d uses XML files. S1000D is also called IETP software. It means Interactive Electronic Publishing or Technical Publisher.

User's point of view, the Indian standard JSG has more features than S1000D publishing.

This IETM software solution is designed and developed, and published as per MIL-M-87268: MIL STANDARDS (requirements for manuals, interactive electronic technical manual MIL-D-87269: MIL STANDARD for support of database)

HTML 5 (responsive) based content integration and module-based deployment. Applications: Angular JS Framework, Electron Database: MySQL, Frontend: HTML5, Bootstrap framework, etc, are used in IETM software designing and development.

These documents are to be prepared as per the guidelines laid by the Government agencies and published as per the standards JSG 0852:2001 JOINT SERVICE GUIDE.

All the manuals should follow the same standards defined by the service groups.

These technical documents should be designed and developed, and supplied using JSS 0251-2015 AND JSG 0308-2017 standards.
